If you are concerned about this area, it looks to me that the roots are just drying out. Phal roots will be green when wet and silver when dry. Yellow roots are those that haven’t been as exposed to light so they have less chlorophyll.

Or if it this area, it’s hard to tell from the photo. Possibly a mold or fungus. I wouldn’t be terribly concerned as long as it doesn’t spread. However, watch that you are not keeping your plant too wet. If it’s been two or more years since repotting, now would be a perfect time to refresh your media.
2 gillningarlooks like just a few spent roots, probably a non-issue since you have plenty of other healthy roots. If Measomer agrees, I think you’re in the clear!

I agree with Eatyacarbs and think you’re safe to wait until the blooms drop. The less you disturb the roots the less chance of bud blast. Keep an eye out for wrinkling leaves or more root dieback. If things do go south, be ready to sacrifice the blooms for the overall health of the plant. Good luck!
