I may be going crazy, but did I just find a tiny snail on one of my orchids… I have no words. It’s one of the recent arrivals, may be quarantine time now, I’ve never seen this before

    almost looks like a ramshorn snail - which is an aquatic pest in home aquariums lol tho i have seen some similar looking ones on my front lawn.. hope its doesnt turn into too big of a problem for u 🌱💚

      The poor thing probably crawled up the plant and dried up from lack of moisture then 😓 Will search to see if there are any live ones and let them loose

    Check your roots- snails in the media will eat them, particularly the tender new root tips. If it seems you have a problem- or find more, you need to repot, and spray the roots with hydrogen peroxide. It will kill off any eggs in the books and crannies.
