Hi everyone, new to the app and group. I noticed one leaf on my orchid looking a little bumpy and difference in colour. I’ve had this orchid for about 2 years now and she’s on her 2nd round of flowering since I’ve had her. Do I need to be concerned about this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated
More questions before I have any suggestions or hypothesis on this leaf… you said you’ve had this orchid for about 2 years… any changes recently in location? Have you brought any new orchids into its immediate vicinity recently? Is the texture and discoloration on the leaf a new sudden development, or has it been a slow progression to this?
0 LikesHi Jen, I moved house so I’ve out it non a south east facing window rather than a north west facing window. It’s always been right next to my other orchid which I had before I recieved this one. No issues on the other plant. No, the other original leaf also had this issue. The other leaves in the photo are younger leaves which have developed since I’ve had the plant, this leaf is the last remaining from when I received it. It’s been a slow progression to this. It started with a looking a little beige in places where the bumps have formed.
