Does anyone know why this orchid’s leaf is turning yellow? I usually water when the roots are silvery and it gets good lighting

Following, as one of mine is doing this also.

3件のいいねOnly thing I can add is to be careful when watering to ensure you soak up it a kitchen roll any water that may be on the leaf & slides down to the little gap/nook as in this can affect the plant. In the wild, this doesn’t happen & water properly naturally drains away. But as said before, as long as the leaves above are good, your okay. You also want the other leaves to be firm & green. Check the roots aren’t going black as well as this could be a sign of root rot from over watering with the roots sitting in too much water
いいね 1件The leaves above are turning yellow too now 😟

いいね 1件From the picture you are showing, it looks like the stem of the orchid is low in the plastic pot. It might be that when you are watering, as the leaves are low, you might be getting water on the leaf, which then sits in the little V shaped crevices of the leaf at the stem. When you water next, or check now if there is water there. If there is, soak it up with some tissue as it could be the issue making your leaves go yellow. This is a bad spot to allow water to sit. In its natural wild environment, water will be removed to your wind, heat, the position on the plant in its natural environment. So as house plants we have to ensure all water in this space is always soaked up and removed.
