Hey fellow Orchid Obsessors. Recently just went to groom the roots and do a repot and my boyfriend bought terracotta as he thought that was what a lot of growers use. Reaching out to see what your thoughts are on this?

I wouldn’t. Clear plastic with holes is best for orchids. Terracotta holds moisture. But if it’s all ya got…eh.

1 likeI have a mini orchid in terracotta and it’s doing okay! I just keep an eye on it and make sure it’s drying out properly
