    Is the one in front a Wilsonara hybrid? What a fantastic bloom show!

      I didn’t get a tag when I bought it, but I suspect it’s Onscostele Wildcat 'Garfield'. They used to be called Wilsonara, but now all Wilsonara are renamed either Oncidium or Oncostele.

      Wilsonara hybrids are a sub-set of Oncidium. I think you’re thinking of Odontoglossum or Cochlioda, which are all just considered ‘oncidium’ now.

      It’s just when I tried to ID it, I found “Wilsonara and Colmanara are both man-made orchid hybrids belonging to the Oncidium alliance, though modern botanical taxonomy has reclassified both names under the broader Oncidium genus (or related groupings like Oncostele).”

      Yes, they just kind of mashed all the different specific hybrids under one big umbrella. Wilsonara are under the Oncidium umbrella. They can all be called Oncidium, but it’s an extremely vague term.
