Can anyone help me with water propagation for this sick Mini orchid? I kept it in the moss bark for too long and when I checked the roots looked like this. Can anyone tell me how to keep it alive??

    Rinse off as much soil as possible with water, being careful not to get water on/in the crown. Dip or briefly soak only the roots in hydrogen peroxide. Suspend it in water so the crown stays dry. The main concern while it recovers is root rot. If you're not familiar with caribg for plants in water, you can grow it in perlite instead since that won't grow mold

    I tried to remove the oval black spot on the stem and accidentally sit off the whole stem. Well, that oneā€™s a goner. I have a hard time with mini orchids for some reason??? My full size phals are great and healthy. Wonder what is different about them??

    Iā€™m trying to heel on of my orchids. The plant doc in the Planta app is very helpful.

    I keeping a rootless orchid (that root rotted) in a small cup with slightly moist moss and I gave it a small amount of rooting hormone and it is growing a new root.

    How wonderful. Thank you for sharing that. Next time it happens to me Iā€™ll try that. Iā€™m great with the normal size pals. But Iā€™m not good with minis. I still have 2. Pray I they will live!!

    Amy, do you use the power rooting hormone or the gel?

      Iā€™m using a liquid not the powder stuff. Iā€™ve tried the powder and it doesnā€™t seem to work as well for me. Iā€™ve used the liquid on various indoor and outdoor plants and get better success
