Okay, I dived into the vanda pool. Mr Pi and I were out running weekend errands. Of course at the last store, there they were. Vandas. Not in great shape but too lovely to resist. Especially with a persuasive man whispering in met ear to get them. The pink one is a Vanda Boonserm Beauty. The other is a no ID but gorgeous! Now Iāve just got to finally a place to keep them. Wish me luck

0 gillningar Yup š Hereās a photo of one, just hanging out on a curtain rod. Impulse buying at its worst. They came in little 3ā plastic baskets w/o media which I think is pretty typical. Iām planning on getting some wood baskets (maybe 6ā?) and either lava rock or leca for media. I hope the change is not too much a shock for them but in just donāt have the capacity or setup for daily watering. Hopefully while Iām out picking up materials, I can resist buying the red one I left all by its lonesome. But then again three would give me one more option for success (or spectacular failure) What am I thinking?!??

You know enough about what youāre getting into, now itās up to your environment and the plants themselves to tell you if theyāre gonna be a good fit. Iāll be super excited to get updates.
