Just spent the last 30mins rescuing this orchid that belongs to my mother in law. It was sitting in pool of water & had to be repotted immediately. I’ve cut away anything dead or mushy and given her new bark soil. What was once a two stem orchid, now in recovery 🤞

      & I totally agree with you about tagging others. I wish it could be a new feature to keep connected. I love sharing & viewing other people’s plants & experiences on here. It’s like a social media app for plants, haha

    This gives me hope! I wonder if I should chop the top of mine off? Along with the rotting roots?

      Agree — keep the one leaf. Maybe cut the one that has the marks on it. But the your plant needs the good green one 💚

    Your orchid doesn’t look too bad! I’m no expert 😅 but I think you should keep your leaves as they appear green & healthy. As for the roots, cut off anything dark brown, mushy to touch or dry bone. I think it’s possible for it to flourish. Best of luck 🤞
