My orchids crown is yellowing more and more now I cut off some leaves a while back does someone know what this is?

    Have you checked the roots? How long ago did you cut leaves off, and why were they cut off?

    I haven't checked the roots in a while and I cut the leaves around two months ago I think

    Can you post a photo from a different angle? The way the yellowing is coming from the crown makes me think you have a stem rot situation that is originating lower. If it’s come up from the roots through the stem, the issue is pretty much throughout the orchid by this point.

      The stem looks pretty yellow from this photo- again kind of hard to tell just from the crown what is happening. You may need to remove it from the media and see if the roots are ok. Anything mushy needs to be removed. If the stem and roots are showing signs of rot and infection, there’s very little hope of recovery.
