What showing out of my paph? Feeling around my paph’s soil and felt this hard thing and dug it out a bit. Can anyone tell me what it might be? She’s in her original pit (got her at a show 2 weeks ago) and am thinking of replanting in better (my!) soil but don’t want to strew her as she’s in bloom. Any advice?

    That’s looks like a dried rotting banana piece 🤪

    Is it slightly fuzzy? Attached to the plant? That could be a very odd looking root. You don’t want to dig them out. Paphs are more terrestrial and their roots are never aerial. They will dry out quickly.
