i just set up this spot for my orchid (wanting to add more plants later on) is the light too bright? it’s on a timer so it’s not on all day but i’m just worried it’s too bright

    Without knowing exactly the type of light you’re using or the wattage etc, I would say it would probably be fine. I haven’t seen too many phalaenopsis hurt with artificial light, as long as it doesn’t reach high enough to burn itself on the actual bulb. I would give it a whirl and just keep a close eye on it from day to day.

      thank you! i have a timer on it so it’s only on for a couple hours during the day. but i will be obsessively checking on it
