   I don’t think it s too far gone but I would try a bare root method to monitor. Just set it on top of your potting medium and mist it the roots once daily. Don’t give up on it! I’ve been dealing with a similar orchid since mid-July. Leaves were completely floppy and nearly no roots. Over the last 10 days it has dropped 3 of its four leaves. But today the last leaf is plump and holding itself up instead of resting on the side of the pot. And I am finally seeing the tiniest of a new root shoot under the leaf it lost yesterday.
