Hello I’ve never had a orchid before and it’s a dream plant this is my first one and I want to care for her right and have more please any advice to keep her happy let me know. I just got her today as a v day present and her roots already look off

hey congrats on your first orchid! the first thing to do is throw away the care card it comes with. they normally say a few ice cubes once a week. but unfortunately that is only a marketing strategy to make them die and you buy more 🙃 i’d recommend looking up orchid care such as paige taylin / blossom effect. she has very good tips and tricks! good luck!

4 Me gustaI know you’ve been given a bunch of resources, but I find Miss Orchid Girl’s thousands of orchid specific videos on youtube an endlessly useful place to go. Her orchid care for beginners series is excellent.
