I have a habit of taking in friend’s gifted phals when the flowers die b/c I don’t have the heart to let them throw it out (they are not plant people). At times it feels like I am taking in too many strays, but I do love the surprise of never knowing what the flowers will look like. Came home from a long weekend to this bloomed beauty!
I just adopted one from a friend. I repotted it, cutting away gross smooshed roots. Cleaned the others off and settled it back into orchid bark. Question is how do I help it bloom again?
0 Mi piace It varies for me. I cut above the 2nd node and sometimes a stem shoots out and flowers in a few months and sometimes it takes over a year for a new stem to grow and flower. Wish there was an exact science but I do not have one.
