Last of my orchid show sale haul. This one didn’t have an id, but I’m pretty sure I’ve narrowed it down to a type of oncidium maculatum, maybe specked spire? It has a lovely scent, and there’s a new flower spike still growing.

      I looked at that one too, but it seems to have more fuchsia/purple in its flower’s lips. But maybe mine is just faded- no idea how long it’s been in bloom. Thanks for taking the time, you may be right.

      Soft… light… kind of like baby powder? A touch of lilies of the valley? I know scents can change as the blooms mature, so I’m looking forward to its next flower spike to see if it’s the same.
