Hello so I’m kind of new to plants especially orchids. I’ve transferred my orchids to water. As I was looking at them last night I seen this one has a little “nub” does this mean I’m gonna have a bloom on it?! Or is that a root?

Omg you have a Keiki! It's already putting out roots! I would transfer it to a pot after it puts out a few more roots.

Leave it for a while while it grows its roots!

Did you buy the orchid this way? Or did it grow on your orchid? How long has it had the baby leaves? Did you apply keiki paste? Do you know how old your orchid is?

When it grows at least 5 roots, cut about an inch on each side of the flower spike and put it in a pot with sphagnum.
