Potentially scale? But I’ve no experience with it personally. Google scale and the American orchid society to read more and see if it sounds like what you’re experiencing. They have treatment suggestions as well. Let us know if you find out for sure.

I replied on the other post but not sure you saw that. It kinda looks like pitting on the leaf. What are the raised bumps? Are there any wet looking areas? Is it just the one leaf that’s been affected? What happened with the discolored growing tip you asked about earlier? I am bringing to think these could be connected. Maybe a bacterial infection but it’s hard to know without more information. How long have you had the plant? How much light is it getting? How often do you water? How do you water? What kind of media are you growing it in? What’s the temperature of its growing space? What’s the humidity?

Thanks for the info. Since you have had it for a week, I think I the best course of action would be to watch the plant. It might just be damage that occurred during transportation from the nursery to your home. If more spots appear, I would assume it’s an infection and quarantine it from the rest of your plants. If the affected area has a foul odor, it’s probably bacterial. If not, it’s fungal. You’ll need to do some research to find a fungicide or bactericide that can be used on orchids. If you are planning on harvesting the pods to make your own vanilla extract, you’ll need to find one that is safe to use on food crops too.

Soft brown rot would be my guess.
