Orchid experts !!! I got this orchid about a month ago off a clearance shelf- she wasn’t looking too happy so I repotted her and cut the old drooping blooms, a new leaf has sprouted through the center ! But - I am still concerned and would love if anyone could take a look at these leaves and tell me anything they know about what it could mean for the plant. The roots are all healthy.
The bottom most leaf looks a little wrinkled and yellow. Wrinkled leaves typically mean dehydration. Yellow is a sign of overwatering. Or could be due to your plant adjusting to its new environment. Since it’s pushing out a new leaf, I kinda think it’s acclimating. I would cut the old spike back to the base of the plant. That way your plant doesn’t spend resources on it or try to put on more blooms. I would let it focus on vegetative growth right now. If it’s not set back, you should have blooms again in a year. Be careful with the water. Only give when the roots turn silvery white. And watch it like a hawk for signs of decline - such as yellowing or wrinkling of the top three leaves, or significant root die off.

That plant looks like a phalaenopsis. Which means it should have “emerald green leaves” . The main factors in this is going to be light and water. Phals are also very common so you can easily find any more information you need. Great potting mix by the way.
