Hello! My new-ish Orchid developed these spots on a leaf, which has now gone limp and may fall off. Does anyone recognize the spot? Should I be concerned it will spread? Thanks for any help!

Hard to say, they do that sometimes. When leaves yellow do not cut them off. Wait until they turn brown. To remove, take the top of the leave and split it down the middle then pull the base from the plant. This should happen easily just using your hands no need for a knife. Good luck! What color is she?

Not sure about the damaged leaf, but the others show wrinkling and a light yellow color that suggest dehydration and possibly too much direct light. I suggest giving it a 20 minute bottom-watering soak to help it recover (just make sure it drains and dries fully afterwards and make sure water doesn't get in the crown), then just make sure water hits the roots directly whenever you do normal watering. Try moving it a bit further from the window and see if that yellowing goes away

HaleyI think it is dehydrating, you should check to see if the roots are ok. If there is a piece of spongy material, remove it. They are grown in this when they are small but if it's not removed it will kill the roots later, and the plant will not be able to absorb water. If this happens you need to keep the orchid in humid conditions to encourage new roots, but not wet enough to cause rot. Damp orchid bark or loosely packed, lightly damp sphagnum moss are good media for this.
