   As long as the flower spike stays green, you can keep it and it might rebloom on that one. The nubs on the end are flower buds that haven't opened. (Flowers failing to open can indicate that it isn't getting proper care, but can't tell you what the problem is. It was likely just poor care while it was at the store.) Your next step in care is to repot it. Yours can go up to a pot size that's 1-2 inches larger in diameter to your current one. Check for root health and any odd packing stuff since stores often do weird things in the pot for shipping. After repotting, continue regular care
