Hey I’m a new orchid owner and my orchid just developed drooping leaves and it looks like the flowers are starting to wilt. I have her in Better-Gro special orchid potting mix and I’ve lined the roots with Better- Gro orchid moss. My house stays between 67-71 degrees and I mist her every few days. She stays in the window sill in the morning before the direct sun hits and on the table about 4ft away from a tall window in the afternoons. As you can see in the pictures some of the flowers are starting to wilt. How do I get her healthy again??

    I am assuming from the information provided, this is a newly acquired orchid that you recently repotted. Working on those assumptions I think your plant is ticked off. Orchids don’t like to be repotted while in bloom. It can cause bloom drop. Also keep in mind that blooms last roughly 3 months. So it could be that it is time for blooms to fade.

      I second this. My orchid flowers didn’t last long but the plant is doing great. I’d give the leaves some time they also might be tired from blooming it takes a lot of energy. My leaves perked up after the flowers fell off.
