My orchid has been steadily dropping flowers on the left side since I watered it a few days ago. Looks like four of them are about to drop. I’ve been watering when the roots turn silverish and I know it has enough light. The roots look healthy. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
based on what you shared and what i can see in the picture, this looks normal! my moth orchids will eventually drop their flowers and bloom again when they’re ready :) sounds like you’re doing a good job taking care of it! it’s so pretty

1 j'aime depending on where you live, you’ll probably have to water less in the winter! and you probably won’t have to repot for a while, they seem to like being more root-bound in my experience. when you do, a really chunky and barky kind of soil is best :)

Yeah they probably reached the end of their life cycle if everything else is good with the roots and watering ✨🧡

This looks normal ! My orchid drops flowers and regrows ! Don’t be too worried!
