Binosa Key Lime. Two directions of growth, both at least an inch or two bigger than previous growths, both with pretty little sheaths that look like they have the beginnings of buds there, (but they were blanks last year.) Keep your fingers crossed for blooms. The flowers only have a fragrance at night, and smell lemony and a little sharp. I’ve likened it to Lemon Pledge, the cleaning spray. 😂 I just love this one.

See the tiny little beads of happy sap? Not too bad this year. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did notice that 😁 I also like how you are managing the unruly tendencies of the brassavola. I may do that with my biggest one. It’s just plantspreading into all its neighbors.

I decided to get rings like those when I accidentally snapped a mature leaf while watering another nearby cattleya. I use one on my maxillaria tenuifolia too. It helps keep the wild ones under control.
