About to make a garlic bath for my orchids! I don’t boil them. I take hot boiling water and pour it over the garlic (skin and all). I let it cool off for about 30-40 mins, strain and let my orchids sit and soak in the water for about 20 mins each. 😁
I have done that with onion peels and it has done wonders for my Orchids. Haven't tried it with garlic yet.

What type of onions? Yellow, white, red? Do you boil the onions or soak them in hot water? Then water the orchids with the onion water or soak them in it?
0개 좋아요 I’ve used red onions, yellow onions. I use the peel from the outside and I never boil them. Just like the garlic, I sit it in a pot and pour the boiling water over it and let it soak.

This is very intriguing! How often do you give your orchids this spa treatment? Also, what kind of orchids?

0개 좋아요 How many cloves of garlic to water do you use and do you dilute before giving the orchid their garlic bath? Does it make them smell like garlic?
0개 좋아요 I use any garlic that looks old. I never count the cloves. No I do not dilute. Garlic smell will not come from the flowers. Will you have a garlic smell in your home? Maybe. Depending on how many you have. I have 6 orchids! Plus I’ll give the left over garlic water to other plants too.
