I spotted some dendrobiums at Lowe’s this afternoon and was curious if there was a major difference between their care and phals. I didn’t purchase one but wanted to learn more before bringing another plant home lol. Most of my collection is phals but I have one lady slipper and one cattleya, which are both doing well. Also, I was shocked to see the wide variety of orchids at Lowe’s: they even had some loose cattleyas and other varieties that I haven’t seen outside of an orchid show.
Phalaenopsis orchids, commonly known as moth orchids, thrive in warm, humid conditions with bright, indirect light and regular watering. They are known for their ease of care and long-lasting blooms.
