Night1st thing is don’t follow the planta AI schedule lol. For me I water my orchids every 7 days give or take. When you water you want to remove her from the decorative pot and put her, plastic nursery pot and all, into a bowl that is taller than that nursery pot. Fill that bowl up with room temp water right up to the base of the orchid and let her soak for about 30 minutes to an hour. Once the time is up let her drain in the sink or somewhere before putting her back in her spot. Never use hot water or ice cold water. Never use ice either for watering. I live in the desert so my every 7 days could be stretched for you if you are in a more humid climate. Also spots in our homes with little to no sunlight are off limits for plants. Plants need sunlight like we need air. I’d also suggest researching epiphytes and how orchids grow naturally in the wild. Oh and lasty just for a fun fact to think about for your future if this one survives is that phalaenopsis orchid roots photosynthesize! Good luck and don’t give up if this one too kicks the bucket!

Thank you!! I’m watering it now because the roots are looking silvery, not sure when the store last watered it 😅
