Guys I’ve just noticed my dendrobium noble flower cane has split and half detached so Ive heard you can propagate by the cane or leave it to try grow some kiekis. What do you think would be my better option? It’s nearly lost all its blooms maybe 2-3 flowers left I’ve noticed the split cane yesterday but can assume it’s been like this for a couple days

I have seen some people try to encourage keiki as a last ditch option. Maybe Miss Orchid Girl on YouTube? Honestly I don’t remember. How bad are the splits? Can you post a pic? If I leave mine to soak too long (brunch with friends turns into lovely shopping - whoops) it can develop some limited splitting but nothing too significant.

Oh, yeah. That’s something different. If the leaves aren’t wilting on the cane, then you might just try staking it to stabilize. If it’s an older cane, you can probably cut it off without too much worry. If you want to try for keikis, maybe apply keiki paste and put in a grow box with moist sphagnum? I would hit up YouTube.

It’s a blooming cane albeit only 2-3 blooms left on there. Leaves still look good though

I’d stake and watch it. I’m guessing there is tissue enough to keep the cane. Keen an eye out for infections and you should be fine. Good luck!
