My little Dendrobium cork mount is considering blooming. I might get one flower this year. š Iāve been struggling to get it to bloom. The cork mount has been in cooler temps for a while now (itās been under a grow light in the garage where itās cold). Should I bring it back to warmer temperatures (inside the house) and start fertilizing again? Should I water more frequently now too? Thanks in advance for your advice. ā¤ļøā¤ļøšŖ“ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Specific care requirements depend on the type Dendrobium you have. If it were mine and I didnāt know the type, I would bring it inside and gradually restart watering and be even slower to reintroduce fertilizer.
1 me gusta I think itās a Dendrobium kingianum and it would have a light purple/pink flower. At least thatās what I remember when it last bloomed. But I donāt remember when this cork mount bloomed last. Lol.
1 me gusta I donāt have experience with this one so went to AOS. They recommend water only when dry while spike forms and resume regular water once plant enters active growth.
