Orchids were the plants that first got me into the wonderful world of houseplants! I only have two right now but they are doing very well!

    Is that a humidifier in the background? If so does it make the floor wet? I have gotten 2 different humidifiers and always wet floor??

      Yes it is! I have two one on the other side of my room as well. I have it sitting on a piece of tile and I've never struggled with it making the floor wet. Unless after cleaning I don't put a part back right and it leaks. The side my orchids are on is my tropical plant side and I have this humidifier going 24/7

    Thank you so much. I mainly have carpet ( forgot to mention that) always worry about mold. Most of my plants are near my fireplace n a plant shelf. I could put humidifier on tile there.

      My guess is that if you csn grow mold you don’t need à humidifier…but you could also just put a saucer with pebbles on that shelf unit and keep a little water in it. I use this little personal-sized ultrasonic humidifier I got at Target, it was inexpensive and seems to work well.

      Thank you! I will do that. Better than wet floor and mold only grows in the shower. I was making a joke. Hard to get jokes thru in texts!
