I noticed a new growth from a paph that I recently repotted. Does anyone know what it is? Is it a new fan or a new plant? I don’t think it’s a flower spike but I’m not sure.

It looks like a new fan to me. It’s location would indicate that it’s not a flower spike. They come from the crown of mature fans on every paph and phrag I’ve ever seen. .

This is great that more than one new fan is growing. Hopefully this means one day I’ll have more than one flower spike. I actually don’t know what the flower on this paph will look like so it will be a fun surprise 🙂

It’s watering day for this guy and I just noticed a growth out of the middle of a fan. I think this guy is starting to produce a flower spike. I’m so excited and wanted to share the news. 😌
