Quick question on Orchids I recently bought one from a nursery , but I see that the buds are drying out instead of blooming flowers. Any idea what’s wrong

This could be a number of things BUT since you recently brought it home, I’m betting stress from environmental changes. Nothing you can do about these blooms. Just care for the plant to the best of your ability, cut off the flower spike when these blooms drop, and over winter it should send out a new spike & the blooms will be well adjusted to wherever you’ve kept it. 😊🌸

Bud blast. Unfortunately it can happen with newly acquired plants. It can be cause by improper care (a lot of times nurseries do not take the time dump water accumulated in the cachepot so they can just swim water), drastic change in environment or just the stress of moving. I doubt it is anything you have done. Unless the plant is super stressed, the opened flowers should stick around for you to enjoy.
