Most of my phalaenopsis orchids produce a spike then buds then bloom one at a time but I have 2 phals that produce one bud then it blooms, another bud then bloom and so on. Just curious if anyone knows why that might be and if that is also a normal growth pattern. They are healthy and in the same location as the others.

    Interesting! I haven’t experienced this myself, but I would guess, since they are all receiving the same care and conditions, that it’s just an anomaly in the genes of the different hybrids.

    There are some phals that are sequential bloomers.
