I haven't gotten any epidendrums yet, but i have a psychopsis bloom on the way (it'll likely be months of waiting due to the sheer length of flower spike; it's been 4+ months already and it's only halfway there) and a dendrobium anosmum that should bloom in spring if I've watered it right

This is an ‘epicattelya’ Rene Marquez. In the same family- more a cousin to yours than a sibling. I started with one about your size and the new growth is almost DOUBLE the first few. It did produce a sheath this year, but it just stalled and then dried out. Maybe it wasn’t completely mature enough yet? Not sure, this is my first reed type as well.
