    What did you do to make this orchid bloom?? Mine is the same type of orchid and has more leaves than yours and I got nothing! Just more leaves!ha,ha! Did yours already come with a bud?

      Yours looks like a cattleya type, which differs from the angr. species. My cattleya usually blooms better under strong light (east facing window+12 hours of grow lights) though

    Mine is Why Not Red. Says it was planted 2-24. Past a year ago how old was yours before it bloomed?

      Yep, Why Not Red is a different type. Generally, 2-3 years until first bloom isn’t unreasonable for cattleyas
