👋 Plant Newbie here! I have another new growth on my orchid! Is it a flower stem or root? I chopped off the flower stem’s when it appeared to be dead 💀 so I’m anxiously awaiting for a new stem! 🤔 Thanks!

    It’s probably a root but it’s hard to tell so close. For reference: roots are cones, they always come to a point. Stems are peeked like the roof of a long house or the edge of a blade.

      You’re welcome! Hope it helps, it was an eye opener for me when it was explained to me so now I sing it from the rooftops lol. It’s def a new root doing the new pic.
