   My initial thought is it looks like a virus to me. But it could be fungal (maybe cercospora). Regardless I would isolate it immediately. How long has this been happening? Do you notice a smell? Did the spots start on the top or the bottom of the leaf. It is in a moist environment? If it is a fungus, look for a fungicide that ideally has been tested on orchids, but at least is safe for ornamentals. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. Test in a small area prior to applying to the whole plant. If it is a virus, there is no cure. Unless it’s an important plant to you, it might be best to dispose of it.

   Are the spots only on this leaf? Or do you have them all over the plant? It could be surface damage caused by something physical, (maybe drops of water left on the leaf in strong light? Pests?) that have become small infected areas. In that case, I’d remove this leaf. Clean cut with scissors, sterilized before and after. Then see if that takes care of it. If it’s all over the plant already, and potentially a virus, I agree with Pi. It might just keep sickening, eventually dying off. In the meantime, don’t share water between plants, and if you use tools on your orchids, sterilize them between use.

   If you’re going to use sink water, use a container. Let the container sit with the lid off for a few days and then water your plants. I learned this from an elder who’s home was a tropical Paradise.
