   That’s the nick where the dye was inserted. It looks blue, so I’m guessing the flowers your orchid has right now are also blue. That’s not the natural coloration of your orchid. Once the flowers die off and this blooming cycle ends, the next time your orchid reblooms, the flowers will probably be white with maybe some yellow, some pink if you’re really lucky. But this injury doesn’t actually hurt the orchid.

     I just checked your profile and yeah, those are very much dyed flowers. Check both flower spikes, there should be an injury like that on each. Also, you need to repot your orchid as soon as possible into a much smaller pot with a more aerated medium like orchid bark or leca. Your plant will die of root rot in that soil, the roots will suffocate and rot. Look up orchid care tips online, lots of good stuff on YouTube. Also never water with ice like that little card tells you to. Phalaenopsis are tropical plants, ice doesn’t exist where they come from. Watering with ice is just a marketing tactic to make orchids seem easy.
