I won this orchid at a raffle but it didnāt have a tag on what type of orchid it is. Iāve seen these for sale at grocery stores near me. I think itās some type of Oncidium. Can someone please tell me what kind of orchid it is and what growing conditions it needs?

1 gillaIt's in the broader oncidium family for sure (which also includes miltonias, tolumnias, brassias, etc). As for exact genus, it's likely an oncidium or oncostele
2 gillningar Thank you. I think itās an intergeneric complex hybrid, based on one day of internet searches, which means Iām new to this and could be way off base. Maybe of the Odontocidium wildcat legacy. Iām hoping it has similar growing conditions as other easy to care for Oncidium - bright indirect light, intermediate temps and humidity. I havenāt looked at the roots yet but Iām guessing theyāre small and thin, so small bark chips and more frequent water intervals might be needed. If folks have other thoughts, please share. Appreciate the community
