   Plants with Krystal and Tanner the Planter on YouTube both have lots of great orchid care videos that taught me how to care for my orchids and get them to bloom again! Gorgeous plant!

     I also highly recommend Miss Orchid Girl on YouTube. She has a whole series of “orchid care for beginners” videos. The most common mistake is over watering. Just look at the roots in the interior clear plastic pot. If they are silver, it’s ok to water- if they are green, let the media dry more.

   I bought an orchid mist spray that I add to the roots and leaves when it’s time to “mist” avoid flowers

     Feel free to mist the roots, but be really cautious about misting the leaves of your orchid. Any liquid that pools in the crown or leaf joints should be dried/ removed with a paper towel. Moisture that lingers in those cracks and crevices can harbor bacteria and result in crown and stem rot.
