Hey, what should I do? I repotted this guy around 5 months ago, after doing so the roots did not look great, so I took extra care of him. He started growing quite a lot and now his roots are coming out of his pot, I have another like him, should I trim It or repot?
I would repot it, generally, it’s best to avoid cutting orchid roots

2개 좋아요Look at how incredibly well you’ve taken care of this guy!!! Happy roots to the extreme! Don’t cut them. You can certainly repot into a bigger pot, but it’s totally in an orchid root’s nature to grow wild like this. I try to tuck the tips back in when I see them starting to head out of the pot. But sometimes they are just too quick. If it’s getting super crowded in there, go ahead and repot, but there’s also nothing wrong with letting a few aerial roots grow free.

Most of my phals look like this and I don’t worry about them. I like that there are some roots that dry out quickly.
