Hello! I recently received this plant as a gift from a friend and I’m not completely sure what to do with it. This is my first plant and I was told it needed some TLC but I would really appreciate some tips to get her healthy again. Her name is Celeste! Thank you🩷💐
I’d check the roots to see if it needs repotting or fresh orchid bark. How often have you been watering? Do you use fertiliser?
0 J'aimeThe flowers look like they are starting to wilt. Don’t panic, it’s just part of the orchid’s lifecycle. When the flowers are finished, I would cut the flower spikes down to the base, giving your plant the opportunity to focus their energy on leaf and root growth. The leaves look pretty droopy as well- look at previous posts about repotting- now (or in the next couple weeks) is probably a really good time for that.
