Do these look like new flower stems popping out? This is my first orchid, and she unfortunately lost all of her flowers shortly after I got her. I did cut the stem back after doing some research and unfortunately have been dealing with some pests. So I’ve been trying to nurse her back to health and noticed these two little guys pop up a few days apart.

Look kind of like roots to me, but only a little more time will tell for sure. I’d also lean toward roots based solely on the fact that you said it’s been really stressed. Pests can set back an orchid. New roots may be a good first step to a healthy orchid that will eventually give you flower spikes again. Keep up with your pest treatments, and try to be patient as your orchid gets stronger.

Some people find it hard to tell whether they are roots or flower spikes but roots are normally shiny and have a round end but flower spikes aren't shiny and they have a kind of pointy end. But if you aren't sure then as the other person said just wait and see.
