The last of the flowers on my Phal died. I’ve chosen to cut the flower spikes completely down as both were brown about half way down anyways and I want it to actually rest for a bit and give me some time to get the things to get it repotted before and it settled afterwards before I am worried about any new flowers.
I have the same pot for my orchid! 😂

I often choose to cut my spikes. While many people leave them, you get smaller blooms. Better off to just snip them
0 gillningarThat and the when all the blooms died in the first spike i originally trimmed it back a bit to between two nodes that were green and it just kept browning. I figured at that point I am going to be trimming it piece by piece anyways so just cut it all off at once.
