The last of the flowers on my Phal died. I’ve chosen to cut the flower spikes completely down as both were brown about half way down anyways and I want it to actually rest for a bit and give me some time to get the things to get it repotted before and it settled afterwards before I am worried about any new flowers.

It’s a pretty pot and if I knew where to get more other than buying more orchids from the store I got this one I would.

I often choose to cut my spikes. While many people leave them, you get smaller blooms. Better off to just snip them

That and the when all the blooms died in the first spike i originally trimmed it back a bit to between two nodes that were green and it just kept browning. I figured at that point I am going to be trimming it piece by piece anyways so just cut it all off at once.
