OMG really???? This is my first orchid, and I thought it was a myth that they could bloom again so quickly. This is amazing!!! 💚

Congrats!!! Be prepared for a wait. It might be a month or so before you see anything.

I’m totally fine with waiting—I thought it wouldn’t be till next summer. And I just noticed a stem on my other orchid, too!

Yep! Just keep it fertilized. ( I didn't want to buy expensive fertilizer so I just put USED coffee grounds and a bit of banana fiber. From the inside of the peel.) bc it needs a high acidity level and also potassium.

I actually just have them in large glass pots with sphagnum moss and a drainage layer, and I have a grow light on them at level 5 for about 10 hrs a day. And I clean their leaves about every two weeks. They’re much easier than I expected.

It depends on your environment but that’s the gist of it :) really great job :) I would cut down the old flower spike to save energy though

Yes! It needs to focus on the new and not the old flower spike! I prune mine immediately after it turns brown.
