Hi! Can anyone tell me an orchid-safe way to lower the pH of their soil (bark-based)? I’ve discovered that it’s currently too alkaline!
Repot me dot com has some great information of the PH of bark and why it may be too high or too low. I believe you can adjust either the type of water you use, fertilizer can affect it, and actually, it can turn more acidic as it breaks down naturally- so if it’s been a couple of years since it’s gotten repotted, that could be your answer.
