Hi! I have a dead looking orchid. Can someone confirm before I replace it š. Iāve heard they go in and out of bloom, but the stem on this one is totally dead.

Or should I cut the flower stem off and anything else that is dead and wait for a new flower spike?
0 Mi piaceDo not replace it! Its absolutely healthy. The spike dying is apart of its natural process. Cut the spike down to the base and then care for your plant as usual. It will regrow when its ready :) Orchids donāt handle pruning of their leaves/roots very well. From what I can see in your photos everything else looks good. Than one air root does look a bit unhappy, but it will die off naturally. I wouldnāt cut back anything except the spike.
