Do I need to replant? It seems happy and has new growth as you can see. I just have ever had so many air roots before. It sits in a window and gets a bit of morning sun now that Fall has arrived, but that will change to indirect sun. It has lived here for over 6 months.

Repotting is probably a good idea, not necessarily because of the aerial roots, but because it looks like it’s still in its original pot and medium.

Switching over to a clear plastic pot with ventilation slits and a mixture of bark and sphagnum moss would be my recommendation. The airiness of the bark would help the aerial roots transition to being potted if you decided to put some of those inside the pot.

I’d strongly suggest soaking the roots for about 15 mins to make them a little more flexible if you were going to attempt to pot them, otherwise you may run the risk of snapping them. Just go slow and be gentle.
