Quick surveyā¦ how many of your (already acclimated to your house- not brand new) phalaenopsis are spiking right now? Iām trying to be patient, but only 1 of my 8 are growing a flower spike, and Iām wondering what I may need to change in their culture.
Of the phals that I have had for a year or more, 2 out of 10 are spiking. I donāt expect 3 of them to do anything this year (dealing with setback). The rest I am (im)patiently waiting on.

2 gillningarI cried when my mini mark plopped out itās first flower spike. When it got another I was like YESSSSS!!!! But the spikes are moving so slowly. I look at them everyday like hello? Are you home?

5 of the 7 in my greenhouse have spikes and great growth but only 2 of the 13 indoor have spikes. The humidity makes all the difference here!

0 gillningarSo only one of my phals is spiking but theyāve got two spikes and Iām DYING!! Where Iām at we havenāt reached fall, fall yet so I donāt think Iāll see more till at least November.
1 gillaAlso a lot of my phals are still growing tons of roots and leaves I feel like theyāre on the biggest loser and itās last chance weigh in before spikes
